Kiln dried and surfaced flat. Any dark areas may be where the planer/flattener hasn't hit yet. This can be removed at your request. This will make the slab thinner. 

We can turn any of our products into a finished piece for an addtional cost if like.

This piece has a figuring in it called "quilted" Its the rarest of a Maple grains.
