This is a single piece of wood with NO LIVE EDGE. It has straight edges. The dark areas, are areas where the slab wasnt fully planed yet. We can finish planing it if like at no extra cost. 

Vacuum kiln dried and surfaced flat. 

We can turn this slab or any slab into a finished product for an additional cost.
